Kelly joined Race & Company as an articled student in 2022 and was called to the Bar in 2023. She practices civil litigation with a focus on employment law, representing both employees and employers across a range of workplace disputes. A passionate and determined advocate, Kelly has successfully appeared before the British Columbia Supreme Court and various administrative tribunals throughout the province.

Kelly earned her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University. During law school, she was a member of the criminal law trial advocacy moot team and competed in the McIntyre Cup. As a summer student, she worked at a nonprofit legal clinic where she assisted with poverty law and human rights matters, fostering a strong commitment to access to justice. In her first year of law school, Kelly also worked as a Research Assistant, examining Charter issues within the Canadian Anti-Doping Program.

Prior to law school, Kelly lived in Whistler, where she worked in the hospitality industry and developed an appreciation for powder days and small-town living. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario, earning a Bachelor of Arts with an Honours Specialization in English Language and Literature.

When she’s not practicing law, you can find her hiking up a mountain or skiing down.
