Profile

Kelly joined Race & Company as an articled student in 2022 and was called to the Bar in 2023.  She maintains a civil litigation practice with a developing focus in employment law.  As a passionate and determined advocate, Kelly has successfully appeared before the BC Supreme Court and various administrative tribunals throughout the province. 

Kelly graduated with her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University.  During law school, she was a member of the criminal law trial advocacy moot team and competed at the McIntyre Cup.  As a summer student Kelly worked at a nonprofit legal clinic where she assisted with various poverty law and human rights matters and developed a passion for access to justice.  In her first year of law school, Kelly worked as a Research Assistant scrutinizing Charter issues within the Canadian Anti-Doping Program.

Prior to law school, Kelly lived in Whistler where she worked in the hospitality industry and developed an appreciation for powder days and small town living. 

Prior to law school, Kelly completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario where she received a Bachelor of Arts with an Honours Specialization in English Language and Literature. 

When she’s not practicing law, you can find her hiking up a mountain or snowboarding down.
