Heather Hall


Heather was born and raised in Guelph, Ontario. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Honours in Environmental Science, as well as a Bachelor of Education, both from Queen’s University, in Ontario.
Upon graduating from Queen’s, Heather spent a year traveling abroad. On her return, she settled in Whistler, B.C, where she worked for an adventure company.

Heather went on to study law at Thompson Rivers University, in Kamloops, B.C. During her time at law school Heather was awarded the course prize in Wills and Estates and she authored an academic critique of the Canadian Government’s 2014 Corporate Social Responsibility Policy.
Always having had an interest in social justice, Heather participated in a summer articling position at a counselling and legal assistance organization in Hazelton, B.C. During that placement Heather assisted on a variety of legal aid files, including: family law, criminal law, employment and labour law, and wills and estates.

Heather started at Race & Company in 2018 as an articling student and joined the firm as an associate upon her call to the bar in 2019. Heather maintains a general litigation practice with experience working on defence and personal injury files, as well as family and civil matters.
As an outdoor enthusiast, Heather loves living in the Sea to Sky corridor where she spends her spare time hiking, skiing, snowboarding and camping.
