Profile
Brie Reilly grew up in Red Deer, Alberta, and spent most of her time dancing competitively. In 2005, she obtained her Bachelor of Science Honours from the University of Calgary.
She took time off to travel to Brazil to learn Portuguese, train Capoeira, a Brazilian martial arts, and volunteer as an English school teacher for orphaned and disabled children living in the favelas “slums” of Brazil. Upon her return to Canada, she helped run a Capoeira Academy in Calgary and acted as the community liaison.
Brie attended the University of British Columbia with a concentration in Immigration and Refugee law. She then worked with the Department of Justice in Vancouver, where she practiced law mainly in the areas of immigration, refugee and aboriginal litigation. During her time with the Department of Justice, she appeared in Federal Court on several judicial review cases.
Her love for the mountains soon called her to move to Whistler. Brie joined Race and Company in 2013, practicing civil litigation, concentrating in both plaintiff and defence personal injury law. When not working, you will find Brie snowboarding, mountain biking or off somewhere camping.
