Anna Wood

Anna M. Wood was born and raised in the North Shore and Sea To Sky Corridor where she grew up ski racing, mountain biking, hiking and dancing.

Anna began her legal career in 2008 when she started working in family law while completing her Diploma of Paralegal Studies at Capilano University. Upon graduation in 2009, she worked as a paralegal in both family law and personal injury law while completing her undergraduate studies.

Anna graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2013 with a Bachelors of Arts, majoring in History and Political Science. She then attended law school in London, England, at City University London and graduated in 2015. While completing the Legal Practice Course in 2015 to 2016, Anna worked as a paralegal in London in general civil litigation, family and employment law. She worked on cases in the High Court of Justice, including Commercial Court and the Family and Chancery Divisions.

Anna joined Race & Company in October of 2018. After securing her articling position with the firm, she began working as a paralegal as part of the personal injury defence team. She began articling with the firm in 2019 and joined the firm as an associate upon her call to the bar on June 16, 2020. Anna’s practice includes plaintiff and defence personal injury law, family law and general civil litigation.
