Max Hufton is a barrister primarily involved in the litigation of casualty claims. He was born, raised and first educated in England. He graduated from the University of London in 1991 with a degree in Sociology. He then taught English in Greece, India, Poland and South Korea before coming to Canada in 1998 and commencing his legal career.
Max has successfully represented his clients in mediation, arbitration, trial, the British Columbia Court of Appeal and at the Supreme Court of Canada. Max combines his present career with his former passion for education by regularly presenting on matters of legal interest and through his involvement with the Canadian Defence Lawyers.
In his spare time Max enjoys playing music with his wife and son and mountain biking (though seldom all at once).
