Kirsten Lowe was born in raised in small town Acton, Ontario, and since then has happily made the move to the Sea to Sky Corridor. In 2011, she obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science from McMaster University and went on to study law at the University of Ottawa. During her studies, Kirsten was a member of the Dean’s Legal Research and Writing Fellowship and was a teaching assistant for first year legal research, writing, and alternative dispute resolution classes. She was also on the executive for the Animal Legal Defence Fund, who were part of parliamentary action to ban the importation of shark fins to Canada.
Kirsten joined Race and Company in the summer of 2016 after completing her articles and being called to the Bar. She has a general litigation practice; working on plaintiff and defence personal injury files, as well family and civil matters. Kirsten is thrilled to work in an area where she can snowboard, hike, bike, and explore the great outdoors in her spare time.
