Alison Hopkins grew up in Lethbridge, Alberta spending weekends and summers playing in the Rockies, skiing, hiking and climbing. In 2005, Alison obtained her Bachelor of Arts Honours from the University of Victoria majoring in political science.
Alison attended Dalhousie University for law school with a specialization in health law. She articled with Blake, Cassels & Graydon in Ottawa. Upon being called to the Ontario Bar, Alison moved to South Africa to work with the Legal Resources Centre where her work focused on constitutional test case litigation.
Upon returning to Canada, Alison joined Race and Company, practicing in both plaintiff and defence personal injury law. When not working, you will find Alison out on the ski hill in Whistler, hiking somewhere in Squamish or continuing with her childhood love of ballet.
