Rebecca was born and raised in West Vancouver, BC, and spent most winter weekends and holidays in Whistler, skiing with her family. She holds an honours BA in English Literature and Language from UBC, where she also earned her LLB. After completing her articles with Race & Company and being called to the bar in 2009, Rebecca joined the firm as an Associate. Her practice primarily involves civil litigation.

Rebecca volunteers her time and experience to various arts and community organizations throughout the Sea-to-Sky corridor, as well as to managing a local youth soccer team. In 2002, she helped found an innovative environmental organization that continues to work closely with BC's First Nations to restore culturally and historically significant lands.

Rebecca also writes, paints and ruins good walks with her golf game. When the weather is warm, she challenges local lake and ocean long distance swims. On winter weekends, whenever she can, Rebecca still skis Whistler and Blackcomb with her family.
