Glen McEachran has practiced law since being called to the Law Society of British
Columbia in 1988. He has lived in British Columbia all his life. He was raised in Richmond and attended the University
of British Columbia, where he received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering in 1983. He attended law
school at UBC the following year, and began practicing law in Vancouver in 1988. He moved to Squamish in 1998 and had
been practicing law with Race & Company ever since.
Glen has always been involved in athletics, participating in many sports including golf, soccer, curling, softball
and skiing. In 1990, he competed in the Brier as a member of the British Columbia men's championship curling team. He
has, for many years, coached junior curling, minor baseball and soccer. He served as the director for the Minors
Division of the Howe Sound Minor Baseball Association for several years. More recently he has coached the Howe Sound
Secondary School curling team. That team reached high school provincials in both 2008 and 2009.
Glen is a member of the Rotary Club in Squamish. Since 1998, he has served in several capacities on its executive,
and as its President in 2006-2007. |
