Britni Troy was born in Pennsylvania but moved to the Lower Mainland at a young age. She grew up dancing; graduating from a fine arts high school in 2002.
In 2006 Britni obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University, as a double major in Political Science and World Religions. While at McGill Britni founded
a dance company called Inertia Modern Dance Collective. Britni followed her academic and artistic studies to Kerala, India where she attended for a semester abroad.
Britni moved to Whistler the summer after completing her BA, and fell in love with the summer sports that the mountains had to offer. She attended at Queens Law School
in 2006 studying mainly in the areas of Religious and International Law as well as Personal Injury. Britni obtained her JD in 2009 and officially moved back to her
favorite coast. Britni was called to the British Columbia bar in 2010 after completing her articles with Race & Company where she has stayed, practicing mainly in the
area of civil litigation.
When Britni isn't working she enjoys mountain biking, hiking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing. She loves traveling to new places and
photographing everything along the way. Britni is an active member of the community and is on the board of directors for DanceWhistler. She is also a member of the
Canadian Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
